• Playing God – Kemilee (Due Sasso) filly | Mungrup Stud

    By Champion 2017-18 First-season sire from a speedy three-time sprint winner at Ascot for owner-breeders Lex & Shirley Piper.  They tapped into the family four generations ago after it was originally developed in WA by Jeremy Hayes (Karnup Stud) and Tony Freebairn (Haddow Stud).

  • I’m All The Talk – Miss Kincaple (Pentire) colt | Mungrup Stud

    By a Mungrup Stud sire whose first yearlings will be catalogued for the 2019 Perth Magic Millions.  His dam is a full-sister to Kincaple (G3 Strickland Stakes & LR Kalgoorlie Cup) and the mare also has a filly among I’m All The Talk’s initial crop.

  • Rommel – Girl In A Storm (Metal Storm) colt | Santo Guagliardo

    This colt by Rommel (Commands) keeps rising in value while his older half-brother Fire And Rain (Oratorio) continues winning at Belmont for Harvey Crossman’s Lima Syndicate.  Yarradale Stud leased his Ascot-winning dam to Santo Guagliardo who raced Rommel with trainer Neville Parnham.

  • Rommel – Shez Got The Nod (Al Samer) filly | Santo Guagliardo

    The first foals by Mogumber Park sire Rommel are on the ground at Bullsbrook.  This filly is the first foal from an unraced half-sister to G3 Vain Stakes winner Get The Nod (US Ranger).  Her second-dam Silent Cash (Secret Savings) has just foaled a colt by Capitalist at Newgate Farm in the Hunter Valley.

  • I’m All The Talk – Vampi Lass (Bletchley Park) filly | Mungrup Stud

    Group 3 La Trice Classic winner Vampi Lass has been covered by I’m All The Talk in both seasons since retiring to stud. She foaled a colt last year and a filly, pictured with Stephanie Mitchell, on August 9.


  • Lucky Street – Abitcryptic (Bletchley Park) filly | Westbury Park

    First foal by Darling View Thoroughbreds G2 Karrakatta Plate winner Lucky Street. This filly is a half-sister to last season’s Ascot 2yo winner Cryptic Love (My Admiration).

  • Fighting Sun – Elite Flight (Flying Spur) colt | Liam O’Loughlin

    The foaling season is up and running at the busiest nursery in WA – Mungrup Stud.  This youngster’s sire Fighting Sun retired unbeaten as Northern Meteor’s fastest 2YO.  He’s the first foal of a mare who won two Albany Bracelets.


  • Awesome Rock – Herculian Princess (O’Reilly) filly | Stan Saric

    Gold Front Thoroughbreds christened the foaling season with Awesome Rock’s first baby on July 26.  “Mother Nature waits for no one,” Gold Front’s Sue Olive said. “The filly is a fortnight early but Mum and Bub are both doing really well.”
