Snowdome completed a black-type treble for Mogumber Park with a barrier-to-box victory in the LR Pinjarra Classic (1300m) on Sunday.
Mogumber Park owners Colin Brown and Fiona Lacey sold Snowdome on behalf of breeder Santo Guagliardo for $180,000 at the 2021 Perth Magic Millions and the latest victory sent his earnings through $950,000 with Westspeed Bonuses of $236,500.
The Bullsbrook nursery had dominated last Saturday’s Pinjarra’s sales-related meeting with its graduates Do I Feel Lucky (Dirty Work) winning the RL Magic Millions 2YO Classic and Smooth Chino (Maschino) the RL Magic Millions 3YO Trophy.
Pinjarra Race Club will conduct its fourth and final black-type race of the season with the LR Pinjarra Cup (2300m) on March 23.
Snowdome (5g Rommel – Snow Pixie by Snitzel) was a firming $2.70 favourite on Sunday and a class edge helped him repel minor placegetters Man Crush (Manhattan Rain) and Final Siren (I’m All The Talk).
He’s a younger full-brother to 2022 RL Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy (1200m) winner Pixie Chix. A month after that black-type update, he added another for the family in the G3 WA Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m).
A further Group 3 arrived in the 2023 Prince of Wales Stakes (1000m) followed by the LR Cyril Flower Stakes (1200m) earlier this month for Neville Parnham, his wife Carol and part-owners Bob Pearson, Mike Fagan and Guagliardo who kept a share.

Guagliardo stands Rommel (Commands) at Ridgeport Farm in Waroona and he sold Snow Pixie to Gingin breeder John Latham in April 2020.
“Snowdome is a high-class horse,” Parnham said. “We were going to take him east for the Sydney autumn carnival last year until he injured a joint. Then he came down with a bad virus but he’s back on track now.”
Mogumber Park had a 100% clearance with the 19 lots it offered at last week’s Magic Millions Yearling Sale. Resident sire Safeguard topped the consignment when his filly from Clarecastle (Tribu) was purchased by Paul Jordan for $220,000.
Jordan wasn’t to be denied and that wasn’t surprising considering he has trained every one of Clarecastle’s nine winners to date.
