The Inglis February (Early) Digital Sale generated $442,250 in turnover for the Scenic Lodge Dispersal on Wednesday.

Scenic Lodge catalogued 46 lots and general manager Jeremy Smith said the process all the way along had been seamless.  “We’re absolutely rapt with the results and special mention to Sinead Flannery at Inglis.  She was brilliant to deal with and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”

Among the broodmares were Gingerbread Man 9yo Very Angry Gal (pictured) who made $32,500 in foal Universal Ruler.  Purchased by Mark Nelson, she’s the dam of recent Ascot winner Madhi Girl (Winning Rupert) who is $15 in pre-post betting for next Saturday’s RL Magic Millions WA 2YO Classic (1200m) at Pinjarra.

Scenic Lodge will sell another 14 yearlings at the Perth Magic Millions on February 22 and 23.

The Inglis February (Early) Digital Sale also saw Gangemi Thoroughbreds in action with $76,500 to spend on Corn Cob.  The 5yo gelding by Awesome Rock won 11 times in 35 starts for Peter Maver and trainer Julia Martin.

Corn Cob won 10 races at Geraldton before opening his city account at Ascot in January 2023.  Gangemi Thoroughbreds had rescued Massimo (Sessions) for $150,000 at the 2021 Inglis June Digital Sale and he has earned another $500,000 to date.
