Gold Front Thoroughbreds celebrated a day to remember when I’m Nipote (Gingerbread Man), More Than Enuff (Rich Enuff) and Rock Fest (Awesome Rock) filled out a winning treble at Ascot on Saturday.

The trio were bred by Gold Front owners Alan and Sue Olive and the connections of all three are looking forward to more pay-days this season.

I’m Nipote was the first to salute in the Westspeed Platinum Hcp (1600m) for Serpentine owner-trainer Brad Seinor and his wife Ann.  He settled in the running line behind the leader Sandfire Rose (Sessions) and was ready to pounce within sight of the corner.

“He’s doesn’t race with a lot luck but Lucy (Fiore) told me she would go forward today,” Seinor said.  “That surprised me but it ended up being a perfect ride.”

I’m Nipote had run seconds to I Love Ya Money (Gingerbread Man) and Streamlined (Maurice) in September.  “He was held up two starts ago and ran out of his skin behind a good horse last time,” Fiore explained.  “I rode him aggressively today and got going early which made all the difference.  He’s tough and deserved the win.”

Gold Front has bred several city winners by Yarradale Stud sire Gingerbread Man including Chili Is Hot (LR Belmont Oaks), I Love Ya Money and Allaboutthecraic.  I’m Nipote was the fourth winner in as many days this week by Gingerbread Man and the Olives bred him from La Gloria (Slater) who is an unraced half-sister to Perth black-type performers Prete a Partir (Choisir) and Black Cuban (Blackfriars).

More Than Enuff (Rich Enuff) broke a run of outs for part-owner and trainer Stephen Miller in the Brian Casey Hcp (1800m) yesterday.  He was a $65,000 buy from Gold Front at the 2022 Perth Magic Millions and the latest winning purse sent his prizemoney past $216,000.

More Than Enuff is closely related to I’m Nipote through their dams Prete a Partir (Choisir) and La Gloria (Slater).  They’re both daughters of Gold Front foundation mare Sigaro (Lujain) who was a younger half-sister to G1 AJC Champagne Stakes (1600m) winner Carry On Cutie (More Than Ready).

Rock Fest (Awesome Rock) was resuming from a near year-long, injury-enforced lay off but that didn’t prevent him rocketing home to complete the Gold Front treble in the Happy 80th Birthday Bernie Ryan Hcp (1200m)

The exciting Pearce Racing-trained sprinter-miler (Photo / Western Racepix) was last seen finishing third to King Of Light (Earthlight) in the G2 WA Guineas (12600m) last November.  He was knocked down for $55,000 at the 2022 Perth Magic Millions Sale and has now earned over $245,000 from three wins in five starts,

Gold Front resident Awesome Rock (Fastnet Rock) sired him from NZ-bred mare Society Gal (Faltaat) which make him a full-brother to Red Sun Sensation who won a G3 SAJC Chairman’s Stakes (2000m) at Morphettville when trained by Peter Moody.  He returned home to add a LR Northam Cup (1600m) under the care of Sue Olive.

Awesome Rock stands for a service fee of $7,975 (inc GST).  For bookings or further details, call Sue Olive on 0417 937 606.
