We led last week’s Foal Gallery with an image of a Sessions colt that was orphaned at Gold Front Thoroughbreds after the death of his dam Alta Sull’Amore (Sepoy). Gold Front’s Sue Olive and Naomi Montuolo have updated his progress from what was a heartrending situation to a heartwarming outcome.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing horse community! After losing his much-loved Mum, we put out a call for a foster mare and were completely overwhelmed by the love, shares and offers of help. After trialling two mares that sadly weren’t quite the right fit, little ‘Sully’ has finally found his new Mummy! And the sweetest part? He’s helping heal her broken heart while she gives him all the love he needs. And a big thanks to Mark for the long hours that helped make it finally come together. Words cannot explain the relief when it works.
Rangeview Stud
This beautiful Maschino filly from Rangeview Stud is out of well-bred Snitzel mare Snitz ‘N’ Giggles. She’s a half-sister to this year’s LR Shelia Gwynne Classic (1400m) winner Rissoles (Playing God) and recent Belmont winner Tidwell (Playing God). Snitz ‘N’ Giggles is a half-sister to LR MVRC Carlyon Stakes (1000m) winner Acromantula (Written Tycoon). Second-dam For Your Eyes Only (Bletchley Park) was a Listed winner of the Gimcrack Stakes, Ascot 1000 Guineas and Beaufine Stakes. Rangeview’s Rob and Jody Gray also sold the latest Playing – Snitz ‘N’ Giggles colt for $75,000 to Commercial Bloodstock’s Noel Carter who was acting for Steve Wolfe at this year’s Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
Mogumber Park
Wally Daly bred this colt from the second crop of Mogumber Park sire Marine One (Capitalist) from Tahitian Pearl (Toronado) who was placed at Belmont and York in a career limited to just three starts for trainers Sean & Jake Casey. Daly also has a first-crop Marine One filly from Winning Pia (Shooting To Win).
Scenic Lodge
This Universal Ruler colt is the first foal from Zero Emission (Demerit) who won at York and Narrogin for David and Joy Kelly. She was bred and sold by Bellbridge Park to the Forrestdale couple at the 2020 Perth Magic Millions and is from the immediate family of Perth Group winners Marasco (Scenic), Hot Shot Brother (Key Business) and Shining Knight (Blackfriars).
